The Taitua Arboretum

Trail Information

Enjoy this 2.3-km loop trail near Hamilton, Waikato. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 34 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Taitua Arboretum Walk is located near Hamilton in the Waikato region. It's a perfect, tranquil spot for families with young kids. There are lots of tree cover, very friendly ducks and chickens, and many other things to look at. The park is open seven days from 8 am - parking with public toilets is available on site.
